Floyd T. Fulle

Floyd T. Fulle (1921-2000) was editor of the Des Plaines Suburban Times until 1963 when he became the publisher of the Suburban Progress, a weekly in Maine and Leyden Townships. He also began operating a travel agency in Des Plaines with his wife.

In 1947, he began managing the weekly Edison-Norwood Review, which served the Northwest Side of Chicago. He was Cook County Republican chairman in 1974.

In 1975 he was convicted extortion, perjury and income tax fraud while in the office as the Cook County Commissioner. He spent five years in jail.
