The Americana Inn was a motel at 2175 E. Touhy. It was renamed O'Hare American Inn in 1966. The hotel became a Comfort Inn in 1987 and Spark by Hilton Des Plaines Chicago O'Hare in 2025.
Restaurants included (dates approximate): Heritage Room (1962-1985), Green Leaf Restaurant (1983-1985), Prince Restaurant (1986), Sweet Zucchini (1982), Totsi's (1981).
Albert Pick, Jr. (1895-1977) owned several hotels, including the Congress Plaza Hotel in Chicago.
