Leonard J. Poyer (1896-1975) was a charter member of the Lions Club. Leonard Poyer's Bicycle Shop was next to Kinder Hardware. He opened his second business, a service station called Poyer's Battery & Vulcanizing Shop on Miner Street in the early 1920s.
